小學英語教師資格面試指導-詞匯課教學設計
小學詞匯課是小學課堂的基礎,詞匯課堂注重對詞音、詞義的掌握,在設計詞匯課時,結合小學生特點,采取有趣多樣的教學活動吸引學生的注意力,讓學生在活躍的課堂氛圍中掌握知識。本節課選自人教版小學英語四年級上冊Health Habits的部分內容,要求突出詞組的教學,并根據教學內容選用或自編一首簡單的英語歌曲。因此在授課過程中要把歌曲呈現出來,把詞組講解到位。
一、Teaching aims:
1.Knowledge aims:
Students can understand some new words, such as drink juice, wash hands, eat food and so on.
Students will be familiar with the topic of healthy habits.
2.Ability aims:
Students can improve their speaking ability.
Students will be able to recognize the habit is healthy or not.
3.Emotional aims:
Students will increase their interest of learning English.
Students will foster their healthy habits.
二、Teaching key points and difficult points:
1.Key points:
Students can express their opinions about healthy habits.
Students can master the new phrases.
2.Difficult Points:
Students can use these phrases into their daily life.
三、Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Lead-in (3 mins)
Greet students and sing a song “Apple Song” , after that, ask students “Do you like apple?”. Most of them like apple, tell them apple is one of healthy food and ask them “do you know any other healthy food?” Because my students are primary students, they will answer me “ banana, pear, milk and so on”. And after that, Icontinue to ask them “ when we eat these food, what should we do?”. They may don’t know the answer, so lead in today’s topic “ health habits”.
(Justification: the song is closely related to the topic , it is helpful to move to the next step naturally, and students’ interest will be easily attracted.)
Step 2 Presentation (5 mins)
Draw some pictures and ask students “ what are they doing?”, and then write the phrases on the blackboard, and teach them how to read them. Then, use different methods, such as “high and low voice”, “missing game” to practice the pronunciation.
(Justification: pictures can help students understand the meaning of these new phrases and attract their attention, different methods will check and practice their pronunciation.)
Step 3 Practice (15 mins)
Activity one:In order to master these phrases better, play a game with students “I do you say”, teacher do the action, for example “drink juice” and ask students to guess what he or she is doing, then divide students into several groups, some students do actions, other students guess what they are doing.
Activity two: Do a chant with students “this is the way I exercise, exercise, exercise, now I feel so good!”
After that, ask them to work in groups and sing a chant like this.
Justification: ( game is very interesting activities, students will better understand these new phrases, chant can create a nice atmosphere in the class and help them to use these phrases.)
Step 4 Production (15 mins)
Ask students to work in groups and talk about what kind of habits we should have to keep healthy, and then invite some of them share their opinions.
(Justification: this activity can improve their speaking ability and cooperative learning ability, students can use what they learned in their daily life.)
Step 5 Summary and homework (2 mins)
四、Summary: Invite one student to summarize what we have learned today.
五、Homework: Make a survey about some habits in their family.
